Visitors from Belgium and Algeria

Last week, I hosted a group of visiting urologists to our operative room. The group included colleagues from Belgium and Algeria. We spent the session discussing the En bloc approach to prostate surgery. The discussions were detailed and focused on the technical aspects of the technique.

I showed them the specific steps involved in the procedure, ensuring they understood the anatomical dissection. We reviewed the advantages of this method during live observation. It was a productive exchange of information regarding the surgical technique. The visitors observed the procedure directly and asked specific questions regarding the approach. We concluded the session with a review of the technical details.

We hosted visitors in the operating room today. Over a six-hour period, I performed five HoLEP procedures and one ThufLEP procedure. Representatives from Quanta System and ItalFarmacoes observed the surgical techniques directly. The cases demonstrated the efficiency of the laser system during enucleation. This session allowed the team to see the practical application of the technology in real-time. The procedures were completed without complications. The team focused on the laser settings during the cases. All procedures followed standard safety protocols. It was a productive day of observation and surgical execution.

Australian Visitors and En Bloc HoLEPs

This week I welcomed visitors from Australia to our operative room. We performed 6 En Bloc HoLEPs during their visit. This number of cases was sufficient to discuss the subtleties of the technique in depth. We utilized the Quanta System for the laser enucleation throughout the day.

The interactions with the visiting urologists were productive. The team coordinated well to maintain the flow of the session. We focused on the technical aspects of the procedure during the live cases. We maintained a high level of concentration throughout the operations. It was a busy day with international colleagues observing our workflow.
