Again I travelled to Italy to work at the Azienda Ospedaliero Universitaria Careggi in Florence.
My role was to perform four operations to demonstrate the GreenLight laser in the treatment of patients with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia. One of the cases was a man with a huge prostate gland, 170 g, who was a Jehovah's witness, and thus did not want to accept the chance of a blood transfusion.
Everything went well and I could return home that night after a long day of work and travel.
