I concluded an En bloc HoLEP course at Hill Clinic this week. The attendees included urologists from Venezuela, Costa Rica, and Italy. Some participants were returning students from previous years, while others were new to the technique.
We focused on the specific steps of the enucleation and mucosal preservation. I supervised the practical sessions and discussed case selection. The training environment allowed for direct feedback on the laser settings and tissue handling with the HoLEP technique.
