I finalized my talk on ‘Mastering the Light’ for the ETS meeting in Kobe, Japan. The presentation outlined specific steps for laser enucleation. I met Profs. Endo and Shitara during the conference days. Several Japanese colleagues attended who were interested in AEEP techniques. We discussed the nuances of holmium laser settings and tissue handling. The team reviewed surgical outcomes in similar anatomy. I reviewed the latest case series presented by the local team. The meeting concluded with a discussion on standardizing the technique across different institutions. This exchange provided a platform to share practical insights on the procedure.
