Representatives from Quanta System and ItalFarmacoes observed the surgical techniques directly. The cases demonstrated the efficiency of the laser system during enucleation. I have installed a new 4k monitor for HoLEP and endoscopy procedures. The equipment is manufactured by Richard Wolf. Stefan Gille provided sustained support during my professional lifetime regarding this specific technology. The image quality offers crisp details during the operation, allowing for better visualization of the prostate tissue. This setup improves the overall workflow for the HoLEP technique. We are utilizing this system for current surgical cases. The integration into the existing infrastructure is effective. The monitor enhances the view during endoscopic procedures.

I concluded an En bloc HoLEP course at Hill Clinic this week. The attendees included urologists from Venezuela, Costa Rica, and Italy. Some participants were returning students from previous years, while others were new to the technique.

This time I had an enigmatic patient in my HoLEP lists. I really don’t care much about size with HoLEP though.

The gland volume was significant, but I proceeded with the enucleation. The procedure went without complications. I utilized laser dissection for the removal of the adenoma. I focused on maintaining the apical dissection plane. The case was complex.

I documented the specific anatomical challenges encountered during the operation. The patient is recovering well with expected outcomes. The outcome was good.

The surgical workflow was smooth throughout the evening. I acknowledge the excellent nursing team at ICUAurologia for their professional support during the operations. The anesthesia was managed by the team from Clinica CEMTRO and italfarmacoes.

The visitors observed the dissection steps closely and participated in the procedure under supervision. This session focused on the technical aspects of the en bloc approach. We completed all planned cases without complications.
