This year the European Congress took place in Paris. In this ocasion my contribution for the congress was to participate in a hands on session on GreenLight vaporization of the prostate in which we showed other colleagues how to operate with this laser with a computerized surgical simulator.
The simulator is fantastic, as it allows urologists without experience with GreenLight to train for hours before operating on patients. This way, their understanding of the technique improves a lot and any mistake is committed in a computer, rather than in a patient.
